In 2007 six friends came together to share stories of their lives, community involvement and prospects for the future.  They began to question how they can make an impact through their social networking.  These women invited others to join them and together they formed "6InTheCity".  Its mission is to enhance programs for children in the City of St. Petersburg through shared charitable efforts.
